Peninsula Valdez 
The Valdez Peninsula thrusts out from the Argentine coast about half way between Buenos Aires and Tierra del Fuego. It is a rugged place with steep cliffs composed of fossilized shells, shores of multicolored pebbles, and jagged rocks. It is the home of a myriad of marine mammals along with a rich variety of birds. Here you will find Southern Right Whales and their calves from October to early December. Sea Elephants, with males weighing up to 4 tons, are permanent residents, along with Southern Sea Lions, and Guanacos . You may get a glimpse of a pod of Orcas (Killer Whales) as they swim by, looking for an opportunity to lunge up on the beach to catch an unsuspecting Sea Lion. Penguins abound will a rook of over 2,000,000. This is a wildlife tour not to be missed.

      DAY 1 - TRELEW or PUERTO MADRYN - Assistance and transfer to Punta Tombo situated about 120 km. from Trelew city on the ocean front. There it will be possible to observe the marvellous Magallanic; Penguins whose rookery is supposed to gather two million specimens. It is considered the most important continental penguin rookery in Argentina. Transfer to Puerto Madryn . Accommodation for 2 nights at the hotel including breakfast and taxes.

      DAY 2 - PUERTO MADRYN - Breakfast. Full day tour to Peninsula Valdes. Punta Norte or Caleta Valdes Fauna Reserve (depending on where the fauna is at that moment), continental habitat of the outstanding sea-elephants. There we shall meet this large mammal whose name derives from its striking prosbocis (weight between 1 to 6 tons and about 6 mts. long). Then visit to Punta Piramide sea lion rookery where the sea lion of one hair is viewed as well. 

      OPTIONAL: from September to end of November, navigation to see the breathtaking Right Whales, that every year come to Golfo Nuevo to breed. Return to Puerto Madryn for overnight.

      DAY 3 - PUERTO MADRYN - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport . flight
